The Gauntlet is a leadership development path for men at StoneWater. You’ll study the Bible, gain practical tools for daily living, engage in daily accountability, and meet other men committed to growing in spiritual maturity. Each stage is designed to confront the sin patterns we all face, call you into God’s design for manhood, and challenge you to put what you learn into practice.
Stage: Coaching
Coaching
Coaching is a 5-week stage (1.5 hours each week) where we train men to coach and disciple others by first becoming faithful, Spirit-led disciples themselves. This stage confronts busyness and replaces it with presence, prayer, and purpose.
Over five weeks, you’ll learn what it means to live as a follower of Jesus—renewing your mind, listening well, walking in freedom, applying Scripture, and practicing real accountability. You’ll take on a stage task of dedicated prayer time (daily, consistent, logged) and you’ll initiate two key relationships: meeting with a coach (someone investing in you) and a recruit (someone you’re investing in).
This stage equips men to lead with biblical clarity and spiritual maturity—building accountable, multiplying relationships that make disciples who make disciples.
