Spiritual gifts are special abilities given by the Holy Spirit to every believer for the purpose of building up the church, serving others, and bringing glory to God. 

These gifts are intended to work in unity, much like the different parts of the body. Examples include teaching, exhortation, serving, leadership, mercy, giving, wisdom, faith, evangelism and discernment.
